Independent Training
Canceled due to Covid-19 restrictions
Sometimes you just need a place to practice. Maybe you need to get your act together for a new gig, or to work on all those skill drills you know are good for you. Maybe you need to brush up on what you are learning in class, or fine tune your form. For those of you who just want a little extra time on the equipment, we have the solution!
Opening Training Times
Mondays 11am-1pm & 6pm-8pm ~ Wednesdays 11am-1pm & 6pm-8pm ~ Saturday 10am- 1pm
Cost
The fee for Independent training is $10/2hr session, to be paid prior to start. We accept cash, check, and card.
Who
Independent training is for those who are in class or working with a coach and needs some extra practice. It is not to take the place of actual instruction or a place to try new skills. Independent Training is for those age 18 year or older and in a Level 2 class or above with approval from their coach or can be evaluated by the head coach for approval.

Teaching Private Lessons at Synapse Circus
We welcome any responsible coach looking to teach private lessons, small class or even a workshop. Here is some general information for you to help you decide if you would like to work with us.
The Process
★ Provide your credentials to the Synapse Manager, to start the vetting process.
★ We will provide you with a contract to sign before you can teach. You will be expected to adhere to the rules and guidelines within it.
★ You will need to do a walk through of the space and receive a basic orientation before your hosting your first class or lesson.
Cost
★ You may set your rate but there is a space rental fee based on your coach classification.
★ Synapse Circus will take 20% of your total payment as a space rental fee. This amount covers some overhead costs like heat and lights.
★ The fee is due the day of lessons.
Schedule
★ Monday- Thursday 4:30-8:30pm and Saturday 10am-1pm
★ Outside of regular class time special arrangements must be made to open the space.
★ Priority on the equipment is given to Synapse Circus Center’s classes, please take this into account when scheduling your private lessons and small group classes.
Insurance
★ Renter must carry liability insurance with a policy that allows for teaching a class. The policy must also cover students going more the 8 feet in the air if use of any aerial equipment is expected.
